Toward the end of The Book of Revelation - Part 65, there is a section titled "A Voice As A Trumpet" wher J Preston Eby says that the word given to the patriarch's during their particular age or circumstances is not the same word the Father is giving us today, but "there is a proceding word, a right now word, a present truth, and that proceding word is going back and gathering up every preceding word, swallowing it up, and summing it up, into the fuller revelation for God's people in this great New Day of the Lord. God is saying something NOW, and His word for today is greater than any word He has ever sent to His people." I believe this wholeheartedly! The way I see it is that the Word of Yehovah is timeless and every generation has something to glean from its pages.
When I was very first being brought out of the from the Harlot church system, an Apostolic neighbor of mine was teaching me about the Holy Ghost and as this person stood there in front of me and holding a Bible flat on the palm of their hand, the Bible suddenly expanded right before my eyes as though it had taken a deep breath! Then, it started "beating" like a heart! I was so taken aback by this, that the person said to me, "You saw it, didn't you?". I was in complete and utter shock - first of all because of what I had just witnessed, and secondly because this person knew it! I am telling you all of this, because The Day of this becoming a reality in my life is NOW! For the first time in my life, the Father pulled back the veil of my carnal mind and showed me that the mind is NOT an EXTERNAL INFLUENCE, but that it has ALWAYS resided WITHIN me as the SOURCE OF ALL DEATH. I caught just a glimpse of this, but it was enough to make me want to continue reading the Book of Genesis because now I understood HOW the mind of man has been D-E-A-D from the beginning. Enter Noah. . .
The name NOAH (nōaḥ) [H5416] means: REST.
NOAH comes from [H5118] (nûaḥ) meaning: RESTING PLACE.
The root word for H5118 is H5117 (also, nûaḥ) meaning:
TO REST
TO SETTLE, TO RESIDE, TO REMAIN
TO SET ONESELF DOWN
TO MAKE QUIET
TO OBTAIN RELIEF
TO OBTAIN REST
So then, when Noah's Ark came to REST, the Hebrew word used here is H5117.
Nōaḥ's Ark came to nûaḥ on the 17th day of the 7th month (Tishrei) - which is the THIRD DAY of what would later become to be known as Tabernacles.
And, not only that, but it came to nûaḥ (REST) upon the Mount of ARARAT [H780] meaning: THE CURSE IS REVERSED.
Now, when Lemach named NOAH, he did so saying, "Out of the GROUND that Yehovah CURSED, this one shall bring us nûaḥ (RELIEF) FROM OUR WORK, and FROM THE PAINFUL TOIL OF OUR HANDS."
I'm not going to go into all that I see in the story of Noah , but do want to show you the following. . .
Genesis 8:6 - 40 days after the FLOOD waters abated, Noah sends a RAVEN out which goes "TO AND FRO UPON THE EARTH" until the waters of the FLOOD were DRIED UP - that is, the waters that came up from the deep. Also, notice here that there is no mention of the RAVEN being an UNCLEAN BIRD. Later we will see that Noah is given EVERY animal for food, showing us that ONLY the LAW made something CLEAN or UNCLEAN. Also. . .duly noted is the fact that the Israelites went through the Red Sea on DRY LAND - this tells me that the "DRY LAND" which the Holy Spirit impressed upon me in the seven days of creation are indeed "a thing" to take note of.)
Genesis 8:8 - Noah send forth a DOVE - which we know is symbolic of the Holy Spirit, only the dove FINDS NO PLACE TO SET HER FOOT because although the FLOOD waters have "dried up", the RESIDUE of the water is still very much saturating the GROUND - the "earth" of Genesis 1:1-2.
Verses 11 & 12 - The WATERS spoken of here are those RESIDUAL WATERS that were mingled with the GROUND (essentially mud, or mire). Notice the number of days in between Noah sending the DOVE back out...SEVEN and SEVEN, until it returns (firstly) with the OLIVE LEAF, then ultimately not returning at all. (The RAVEN did not return, and now the DOVE is not returning. . .I see this as the DOVE overcoming the RAVEN). Anyway. . .
Verse 13 - Noah REMOVES THE COVERING......the VEIL.....from off of the Ark......then, ond only then is the Earth dry enough for Noah and his family to WALK UPON.
I will trust that you are seeing the picture being painted here. And, isn't it BEAUTIFUL! Isn't it MARVELLOUS! Isn't it GOOD!
I have to stop and ask myself....What is it then that the Father is revealing to us TODAY through these "stories of old"? What is contained in the OLD that is COMING ALIVE for US TODAY? What is the word proceding from the mouth of Yehovah that He is pouring into OUR hearts TODAY and causing them to be TENDER and MALLEABLE in His Hands?
If you take the time to read every verse where H5117 occurs in the Bible, you will be amazed at the UNIVERSAL story being told throughout the Old Testament! Nōaḥ / nûaḥ is literally EVERYWHERE!! Story after story, descendant after descendant, patriarch after patriarch. . .it's the SAME STORY revealed in a different LIGHT each time! Higher and higher we climb until at last we REST from doing the work of OUR hands.
